The short version
ToolStack Radar contains affiliate links. If you buy through them, we earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. This helps fund the site. Our recommendations are always editorially independent — we never rank a tool higher because of commissions.

ToolStack Radar participates in affiliate marketing programs. When you click a link marked with an affiliate tag (or any link to a product we have an affiliate relationship with) and make a purchase, we may receive a commission from the vendor. This commission comes at zero additional cost to you — in many cases the vendor pays it from their existing marketing budget.
Affiliate revenue helps us cover operating costs: server hosting, research time, and the ongoing effort of keeping hundreds of tool reviews accurate and up to date. Without it, the site could not exist as a free, independent resource.
How it affects our recommendations
It doesn't. Our editorial process works as follows: we evaluate tools based on features, pricing, pros, cons, and user feedback — before considering whether an affiliate program exists. A tool with a generous affiliate commission will still receive a low rating if it doesn't deserve a high one.
Several highly-ranked tools on this site have no affiliate program. Several tools with affiliate programs appear in our “you should look elsewhere” sections. Commission rates do not influence rankings.
Sponsored placements
Some tools may pay for a “Featured Partner” placement, clearly marked with a ★ Featured Partner badge. Sponsored placements affect visibility (where a tool appears on a page) but not our editorial score or review conclusions. Sponsored content is always clearly disclosed.
Third-party tracking
